Maya and I will be at the Northfield Earth Day Celebration this Saturday April 27th from 12 noon until 4 pm selling our handmade soaps and knitted washcloths so if you are in town drop by and say hi, we'd love to see you.
This is going to be a great eco friendly event with educational presentations and workshops. Come out to make a birdhouse, seed balls, and a pollinator box. Learn about growing your own food, creating bee lawns, composting and much more.

I'm doing a set of videos for TikTok showing the soaps I've made inspired by some of my favorite Christmas movies. This one is inspired by the movie Jack Frost with Michael Keaton where he dies and comes back to life as a snowman. It's a very cute movie with lots of laughs and will make you cry too.

In June I brought mini soapy cupcakes to sell at the Riverwalk Market in Northfield and they were a huge hit. Little kids love little soaps, especially when they are in the shape of yummy foods like cupcakes and donuts. For me they are really fun to make, though I do need some work on my piping skills. 🤣
Here are the soapy cupcakes I made for September. They are scented with Berry Bliss fragrance oil. So delicious! Not really... don't eat them 😜
Fall is just around the corner. In our home we follow meteorological fall which is September 1st so everything orange, yellow, red and pumpkin starts on that date. Halloween decorations go up, bonfires get lit, pumpkin scented candles start to burn... and Fall soaps go on the website to be sold.
Here are a few I've made for the upcoming season. I'll have these on the website and for sale at the Northfield Riverwalk Market on September 2nd, September 16th, and October 14th. If you are in town please come out to visit our booth and take a whiff of the lovely new scents we have. 🍁
While I was thinking about all of the kids that love to visit my table at the riverwalk I decided it would be fun to make some soaps that are very kid specific and this was my first of several to come. A real rubber ducky for kids to have in the bath. When the soap runs out the ducky will still be there to play with.
The following batch smells super yummy. It's made with orange essential oil and colored with orange mica. It's smells so uplifting and the extra bonus is there's a luffa inside to help exfoliate the skin when washing.
I have a new website! It's not quite ready yet. I expect to be done with it around July 9th since I'll be finished tweaking it sooner than I thought. I originally planned for maybe the first of August but things are coming together quickly so I'll announce when I have all the soaps uploaded to the site so people can check it out. For now I'll have bath bombs, cold processed soap, and knitted wash cloths. In autumn expect to see more fun things. 🙂
One of my most popular soaps is strawberries in champagne. This bar is larger than the usual to accommodate the strawberry embed, it weighs between 5-6 ounces so this one will last quite a while. I'll have this batch on hand at the Northfield Riverwalk Market Fair on June 10th so if you are around stop by and take a sniff 🍓
A few years ago my daughter kept begging me to make a batch of soap for Pride month so I finally did it. I was surprised at what a hit it was with all of her friends so I've made a batch every year since. This year I'll have my rainbow soaps available at the Riverwalk Market Fair on June 24th. I used one of my favorite summer fragrances for the scent; pineapple papaya.

To stay on brand my daughter Maya chose to dress as a fairy this time. As a professional artist she loves to get into costume every once in a while and this seemed to be the perfect venue for it. She's my little assistant soap pixie 😁
It was great chatting with customers and their children. We had a lot of kids visit our booth this time which was fun. They are always a joy to interact with and it makes me happy to see how much they love my uniquely designed soaps.
We won't be back at the market next Saturday but we'll be there again on June 10th and every other Saturday after that. Next time I'll have Pride month soaps and some really cute cupcake soaps so come out and see us if you get a chance!
Have you tried our electric lemonade scented soap yet? If you haven't, make sure you pick up a bar or two at the Shepherd's Harvest Festival over Mother's Day weekend. Electric Lemonade is a customer favorite. Sells out every single time I have a batch for sale. The scent is so fresh and clean and it last a lonnnnnnng time in a bar. It reminds me of the Meyer Lemons. So yummy!

One of these times I need to make a lotion or whipped shea butter with this fragrance oil because it's just so lovely you'll want to have it on your skin all day.
Next month my daughter and I will be selling our soaps and other wonderful goodies at the Shepherd's Harvest Festival in Lake Elmo. If you get a chance please come out and see us. Tomorrow December 10th my daughter and I will be back at the Winter Walk in Northfield. This will be our last day before the end of the year.
I'm still debating on whether I should open an Etsy account or a new website. I'll decide by Sunday so check back if you want to purchase any soaps for Christmas.
Maya and I sold our soaps at the winter market in Northfield on November 19 and now we are headed back for round 2 this Saturday. I’ll have 10 different batches for sale so if you’re in Minnesota and close to the area, come by and see us at 115 5th Street West.
We’ll also be returning on December 10th and I’ll be introducing five new batches of soap on that day. Two of them are pictured below. Strawberries in champagne and orange peel. Both smell incredible!
My daughter and I sold at the Northfield, MN Winter Market today and it was lots of fun. I didn't expect to see so many people considering it was 17 degrees outside, but they came out to shop and it was great to see everyone.
Maya and I arrived extra early since we weren't sure how long the drive would take us so we were both quite tired by 2 pm. Here's Maya right after we set up our table. She's not quite awake yet...and she was the one who had the coffee. 😂
